29 Oct Qigong – a healthy body leads to a peaceful mind
In our cultural tradition, especially for those who practice at advanced levels, understanding one’s own body is of utmost importance. If you don’t understand your body and how it operates, it means you are entirely dependent on others.
In all living bodies, particularly in humans, there are two main elements that must be understood first: qi (energy) and blood, both of which are essential for sustaining life. In qigong practice, cultivating qi is the primary goal. Our ancestors referred to this as “Qi & consciousness” (the energy of the heart and mind). So, what exactly is Qi & consciousness? Join our meditation tour to discover its true meaning.
In our traditional medicine, practitioners must deeply understand the living body, even without the aid of modern diagnostic tools. Sometimes, simply by observing and conversing, they can identify the issues a patient is experiencing.
Because of the critical importance of understanding the human body, our meditation tour includes qigong practice as part of the program. The purpose is to ensure that a healthy body leads to a peaceful mind.
