FAQ – Qigong Meditation Tour & Vietnamese Culture

The Qigong Meditation tour is all about learning about the heart of the Vietnamese culture. You will talk to local people, experience their food, drink their tea, experience street life, its cafes and tea shops and get to see real Vietnamese people going about their business. SO it is a tour about asking questions and seeking answers but there are a few frequently asked questions that we can answer for you now to help you better understand the nature of the tour.

What if I’m not a vegetarian, can I still attend your tour?

Of course you can. Vegetarian is just a small part of your trip and fits well with the concept of qigong meditation but it is not essential that you are a Vegetarian but the tour will show you that vegetarian food is just as flavoursome and exciting as meat dishes. Try it, you might like it.

What if I’m not Buddhist?

Qigong Meditation does not belong to any religion, philosophy or spiritual path but is simply a way of finding peace and understanding in a hectic and fast moving world. It is practiced by people of all faiths and people of no strong religious convictions alike. It is suitable for everyone and everyone is welcome to join the tour.

What about group discounts and can you do private tours?

We currently do not offer discounts as we feel that the tour is very reasonably priced as it is but we can discuss reductions for larger groups, so if you are travelling as a group of 6 or more feel free to contact us before booking. Private tours are available, again contact us before booking to discuss.

Can we arrange a private meditation tour?
Absolutely! However, please inform us as soon as possible so we can check if the dates you’ve chosen conflict with other groups.

What services will we have if we choose a private tour?
For a private tour, all services will be tailored exclusively for you. From private transportation to a dedicated boat for your Ha Long Bay excursion, every detail will be arranged specifically for your group. Please note that pricing will be adjusted to reflect these exclusive arrangements.

I’d like to take a Qigong meditation tour at a different location in Vietnam. Do you offer this?

Qigong Meditation tours require various criteria, so we will conduct a thorough survey. Please contact us for further details. Changing the location is only available for special requests.

Is this tour just for practicing meditators?

The tour is open to people familiar with Qigong meditation, beginners and those wishing to try it for the first time. All are welcome. This tour is about better understanding Vietnamese culture and we are just offering a new way for you to see the real heart of the country and its people.

I’m new to Qigongmeditation. Can I still join?
Absolutely! Our instructors will guide you through every step, making the experience suitable for beginners.

What should I pack for the Qigong meditation tour?
The main activities of the tour include Qigong meditation practice, light walking, and cycling. Therefore, please pack accordingly for these activities. As northern Vietnam has four distinct seasons, we recommend checking the weather with us before joining the Qigong meditation tour.

Where’s your meeting point for the tour?
The meeting point for the One-day Hanoi qigong meditation tour is at Thang Long Water Puppet Theater, 57B Dinh Tien Hoang Street, a cultural landmark in Hanoi. From here, your journey of mindfulness and cultural exploration begins.
